In this video, we focus on adding windows to the building using the Archipack add-on, a parametric modeling tool in Blender that allows for quick addition and modification of objects such as windows and doors.
We start by enabling the Archipack add-on and setting up its material library. We then render the preset thumbnails for each of the objects available within the add-on. These thumbnails provide previews of the parametric objects and help us choose the right style for our model.
Next, we add windows to our building. We use the MeasureIt add-on to ensure accurate placement and dimensions. We adjust the altitude of the windows to sit them on the floor and turn off the in and out tablets in the Archipack tab. We then fit the windows to the openings in our building.
We continue to add windows to the rest of the building, adjusting their dimensions and positions as needed. We also demonstrate how to duplicate windows and move them to new locations.
