I think I have to take courses on how to create a human body from A to Z. P.S. if anyone can offer some quality courses or knows of a site, please reply to this message.

Quad I think means making sure ur making squares with all your points, or vertices, that make up your mesh. Keeping your vertices quadrilateral makes it easier for the mesh to function. Making shapes that have more than 4 points can be bad for it somehow ? Idk something to do with how it converts everything into triangles later. Hope this helped!

I've been following this series and it's been very good but where you merged the vertices on the foot into triangles isn't good. I realize now that you just end up deleting the foot later on but at the time I was following this I did not know that and now I'm having to go back and fix the tri's as the character I'm making is barefoot and I need to have quads and it's very frustrating. For a beginner tutorial I think more emphasis should be given to maintaining quads everywhere, even if the intention is to delete the section later on, since it's just good practice and standard to do so.

Very good tutorial, but it's super annoying as you're skipping things where it matters a lot for beginners to follow the videos, before the Add on I had the same number on vertices, edges and faces, once you go to add the addon for extruding the arms you have 2 extra edges and 2 extra faces than I do and i can't figure out what i'm missing if my life depended on it, spent hours trying to count, go back to the video count again. Not even talking about the loopcut right underneath the armpit that is missing in the video, it's really frustrating as i know how important is to have all the vertices, edges, faces and so on to make sure you're as accurate as possible to the tutorials. My suggestion for future tutorial videos make sure whatever you do is all documented in the video.

I think the hand section of this is sort of flawed. The body reference image doesn't have any topology to follow so it doesn't make sense to mimic the position/rotation/etc of the fingers during the modeling process since we are meant to rig and pose them differently later on. Wouldn't it make more sense to do the fingers in a more uniform way, similar way to how the toes were done?

Additionally, he edits his videos so you cant even follow along. I couldnt delete half the faces, couldnt select loop and couldnt bridge them. Something got screwed up.
