This looks really great, despite a small problem where you can tell it's CGI. The fractures would never cross in reality. If you look at a cracked pane of glass, you can always see which crack came before another, because the last one logically stops when it hits an existing one. However, I can't think of a quick solution to this and for the superficial observer it is probably a rather marginal problem, if it is noticed at all. Nevertheless, it is a very good approach and can be implemented with just a few nodes. Thumbs up for that.

Thanks for the feedback, I get your point. :) Though, I would caution against expecting cracks to form the same way on different materials. You are correct about cracking of glass, and I wouldn't be using this setup for glass either.

I love you content. Please never stop. It has wonderful presentation rarely seen in things about blender. I have some years of blender under my belt and someof your videos (like this one) are really entertaining even if i already know how to do it

I can't use Musgrave in Blender 4.2. It says it's the same as noise texture now. But still can't figure it out.

I love your videos! I just wonder how could I change the length of the hair in your stylized hair with geometry nodes video :(

The "trim curve" node can help with that.
