I just read your book which I got in my local library. I really identified with it because I lost my husband and father in the same year 2008 and since then have had two hip replacement surgeries and this year I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Just finished my last chemo but even tho my cancer is dormant at the present time I still undergo tests and live day to day. I was very blessed to have support from family and friends and several people were praying for me. I did better than my doctor expected and I am gradually gaining back my strength. Your book brought me insight, comfort and courage. Thanks! I will pray for you and your battle with cancer.

So thankful for Anne---Her mother Ruth did an awesome job as a Godly mother in raising her children; as Billy was away so much. That is not to downplay her father's influence in her life. He just was not there for the day to day raising of the children. God has definitely called Anne to the forefront to tell the world of her Savior. Along with Franklin and other ones to their extent. Praise the Lord for Ruth and Billy's lives!!!!!

We really do have to reach deep inside and hang on to the tried and true example of Jesus faith.. and of her family legacy of faith- forged in fire, Holy Spirit, and believing that He is with us- and carrying us in these times-, and continue to manifest and even present a surviving attitude at least-, and preferably joyful countenance, as much as possible.. as believing is forged in the furnace of pain and suffering.. and this woman, Anne Graham Lotz, is a determined vessel to the testimony of staying the course no matter what-,and refusing to give in to the temptation to just let weakness show-.. while she was honest about the hardest time,.. she refuses to give in to weakness, and not out of foolishness- but out of her knowledge of scripture and her faith.. we must Forge our faith in steadfast stick to-itive ness.

The Holy Spirits priority is the FATHER and his SPOKEN WORD. Not a catholic god-man. there was no Jesus! There is the Father, his spoken Word, and his Spirit. These 3 are one. Not a man as God Almighty. Do people even read the bible the way were told? Establish truth by 2 or 3 witnesses that confirm each other, here a little there a little, line upon line. Not everything in the bible is true or literal. Jer. 8.8.

Did u hear the commentator? Her husband died then a year later her dad went to heaven . Sounded really weird?

+Livin 24/7 --Don't look for things that aren't there.. Anyone watching 700 Club on a regular basis knows what she means. It didn't sound weird at all. If you're a "fan" of Anne, you should go and see her interview with Eric on Eric MeTaxas' show, you'll like that one as well. Anne says that "her husband left and then her daddy left and went to Heaven..." See how silly that sounds too? Take it easy, there's no "there" there. By the way - I'm not really an Eric MeTaxas fan, but that's a great interview with Anne and it's an hour long. You should go watch it if you like Anne Graham Lotz. She's an amazing woman of God for sure.

Anne has been through a lot and her faith is an example, but there is something that makes me uncomfortable and grieve: she talks an awful lot about her family helping her. This is insensitive to the fact that some people don't have any family at all, therefore they have no possibility of receiving the help and comfort that Anne speaks a great deal about receiving. We must always try hard to think of those who don't have certain things that we may feel like verbalising that we have.

Correct. I'm alone and have a chronic disease. My parents and my husband are all deceased. I have 1 child, a daughter, and she beat me up and stole from me. I do not want anything to do with her. Better to be alone then abused and stolen from.

truth seeker it is potentially painful to hear of her loving and supportive family on the part of those of us who might not have that kind of kindness coming from our own, but try to look beyond that to her point which is that GOD was present with her and comforted her. In some cases, He did it through her family members but the point isn’t the family members, it’s that HE never leaves us or forsakes us, and will comfort us also in our afflictions, as we look to Him. God bless.
