Different timbres of the various cymbal sounds (simple crashes versus fusions and other techniques most people have no idea about.) I grew up on Blink182, they're my favorite band and have been now for a long time. I grew up a broken home, abusive father, abusive mother, in and out of foster care, in juvie etc... I guess I identified with their music and it's the first music I remember loving. Now as a nearly 40 year old dude (im 39 and how dare you!) I still love them. I put 182 in most of my gamertags etc... as a tribute to them. Something about their music just really spoke to me as a kid and I've just loved that unique style ever since. Edit: i realized this seemed depressing. I work in mental health now, I've done years of therapy myself and addiction counseling etc... I love my job, I love to give back and use my experience to connect with people who are struggling. Blink182 is still my favorite band.
