Ozzy let Sharon screw Bob and Lee. Has nothing to do with Ozzy's singing ability it's his character as a person and musician. Ozzy's a POS for this and also re-recording the tracks in 2002. He doubled down on his shittyness if you will.

Ozzy had a great voice and a good ear for melody. That's it. Geezer and Tony were Sabbath. Bob, Lee, and Randy were the heart of the Blizzard lineup. Bob Daisley, Lee Kerslake and Randy Rhoads were the historic iconic composers that set the direction for the 80's, 90's and 2000's rock groups. The truth is the influences of Rainbow, Ronnie James Dio, Richie Blackmore, Uriah Heep and the late 70's L.A. Club scene set the precedent for Blizzard of Oz and Diary of A Madman. Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake were the guiding lights for Randy Rhoads. It so embarrassing for Sharon Arden Osbourne and Ozzy for not fully paying Lee and Bob their royalties and songwriting credits. Don't forget the Osbournes are who gave Bob and Lee this opportunity of a lifetime. Ozzy was already legend, the name, the front man.

@@kkoch666 I saw Ozzy on the next 4 tours. Brad Gillis Irvine Meadows, Jake E Lee front row at the US 83 Festival, Zack at Red Rocks on the No more tears tour. The 1st tour with Bob and Lee was the best pure rock show out of all of them, these guys had chemistry to no end and it showed big time when they played together. The second time I saw Ozzy at the Forum in LA (Diary of a Madman)with Randy Rhoads, Rudy Sarzo, Don Airey and Tommy Aldridge were a very good combo too, But Randy, Ozzy, Bob and Lee were MAGICAL in the studio/live situations. The first two albums were Ozzys best in his whole career. PRICELESS!!

I agree. They were something special and Ozzy hasn't had anything like that lineup since.

These guys deserve mega credit for Blizzard & Diary. Daisley wrote the classic tunes. I don't know all the behind the scenes stuff, but I think all sides would have benefitted from keep the "band" Blizzard Of Oz instead of making it solo. Sure sounds like the Osbourne camp did not do them right. Just my thoughts...

It's funny how Bob parents Lee during this interview, correcting and nudging him here and there.

Those two Ozzy Albums were my all-time favorite and most influential as a kid around 13 or 14. And to think all these years because of the cover photos I thought it was Aldridge and Sarzo until last year. I'm 52 now. What a paradigm shift to see the true recorded artists.

I'm your age but I knew who the band members were from day one. Daisley's photo on the back of "Blizzard" pretty hard to miss. I saw the "Blizzard" tour with Aldridge and Sarzo and was like WTF? Then "Diary" came out three months later. I see their picture but I read the album credits and was shocked to see that Daisley and Kerslake recorded it. All you had to do was read the liner notes. That is what they are there for.
