Louise was fkn amazing on hunting for witches. I need to see them live again; been hesitant since the lineup change. And truly, I like Justin better, both his super solid, soulful playing and his vocal presence. They had some energy issues, but I know how that goes. Daytime on a huge festival stage so far away from feeling the crowd. Once they started to gel, it was really nice to get a feel of the new incarnation Bloc Party. I mean, I've seen clips of them before, but they're feeling like a band now and not just four people trying to patch a hole and get the ship to shore. Thanks for posting this!

Knew this line-up was onto something when I heard "Plans" arrangement here. It''s never a song I loved on the original record, and they never quite previously got it right for me live either prior to this crew. But here it sounds nimble, biting, and fresh here. Fabulous. Louise is excellent as a drummer here, and she's obviously got the chemistry down with Justin in the rhythm section here. I like some songs on the new record of 2022 - looking forward to future gigs! Check out Novacub too - they've got some fun songs, although different from Bloc Party.
