This initiative underscores the importance of digital innovation, advocating for technologies like blockchain to enhance traceability and data sharing. Blockchain's potential to revolutionize food safety lies in its ability to establish transparent, secure, and efficient tracking mechanisms from farm to fork, mitigating risks associated with fraud and contamination.
However, challenges persist within the current food supply chain, such as intermediaries and outdated technology, necessitating exploration of blockchain's role. This presentation focuses on the hotel industry, aiming to identify critical success factors for implementing blockchain in food safety.
