can i ask a question? why is it called 3-5%? which percentage is it?
@MedicalLabLadyGill

It is a range because it won't be exact. The 3-5% is to match the reagent level of RBCs for tube testing. Gel cards use a different percentage.

Yasmin Ali The video shows that a tech should add another drop of packed RBCs to the cell suspension at minute 2.42. Please remember that the reagent is darker red because it is expired in this video. Therefore, the suspension made was spot on. If you have too dark of a suspension, add more normal saline. In the future, please feel free to ask a question before your pass judgement. These videos are intended to help learners. If a video doesn't seem to answer a question you have then ask. Others may have the same question and could benefit from the discussion.

Medical Lab Lady Gill thanks for the reply, it is just more preferable that when someone is showing a lab procedure on youtube they do a thorough job.
