In this Bloomsday Special, I offer the reader who is new to James Joyce's "Ulysses" a set of keys which should help them access this famous but also notoriously tricky-to-read novel, enabling them to have a wonderful time following Leo and Stephen in their travels around Dublin on June 16th, 1904. These keys allow you to not only follow the plot without losing the trail, but reveal other rooms and passages in the labyrinth which have all sorts of delights and treasures waiting to be found.
Books shown in this video are: the Everyman edition of Ulysses, and the schema at the back of the edition is briefly shown under Fair Use Terms of Service, with copyright retained by Everyman's Library. Also shown was the Penguin Classic edition of Homer's Odyssey.
All mages shown are in the Public Domain, with authors credited where appropriate, and no infringement of copyright is intended with any images or books that appear in video.
