Привет Скотт, здоровья тебе и терпения брат, я из России брат и у меня тоже насос только он 22метра и мы так же продуваем стрелу , только мы её от машины продуваем , на машине стоит бочка и заранее включаем кран и она набирается воздухом от машины..

Flexi on fixed line -not good

It’s a wire-braided hose which is rated in excess of the 85 bar concrete pressure which this pump is mechanically limited to. How else do you suggest connecting a boom to a hard-line???
@garthhearns1980
Жыл бұрын
@@canadianconcretepumper1979 just go 90-90 - no contractor would allow this over here even tho you state it’s rated higher than what max bar pump can achieve on block

@@garthhearns1980 We’d have our nuts in a sling over here if we connected a boom into a hardline without a flex-hose acting as a buffer in between the two, especially in a case like this where the hardline is vertical. Manufacturers don’t care for it either, potentially puts the boom structure under stress loads which it’s not designed to incur.

@garth hearns you a mixer driver? Cause clearly you're not a pump operator. When you're boom gets bent let us all know. This is some of the worst advice I've even seen on KZitem and just know I've seen a video that said the best way to test a power outlet was with your willy.

Why not pour water directly from the tee pipe faster?

Definitely an option, I just find it quicker/easier not having to mess around the the clamp and gasket mid-blowout procedure. That clamp/gasket/flange are usually grouted up pretty good from all of the pressure pushing through this much system all day.

That's definitely a sweet blowout cap. First time I've seen one hooked up at the high pressure, very cool.

It certainly does come in handy. I keep an “abbreviated version” stashed on my pump for emergency situations. Makes blowing out the boom quick and easy in the event of a malfunction/breakdown.

@Canadian Concrete Pumper I also have an "abbreviated" version of a blowout cap, but I have to pop that top 45 at the cannon lol

I agree. I try to help out other operators around me if I’m able. Last week I even had an owner/friend send his operator to a couple of my jobs to let him watch and ask questions. I sure would have liked to be able to do that when I started. I can’t understand how it makes sense to take a newbie out on 2 or 3 jobs and then send them out solo. Hardly any other trade would do that

@@josephrosolowski3575 That’s all coming to an end in our area as of January 2024 when operator certification becomes mandatory (written as well as practical testing components). The certification program is government mandated. I completed mine just recently and was super impressed with how real world/relevant the practical component testing was. Check it out at: www.ccpo.ca/

As much as I dislike government mandates and involvement, I’d probably be on board with something like this. We have so many things going on with what we’re doing, it’s a lot to put onto someone just starting out

@@josephrosolowski3575 my personal belief is that lack of regulation is what’s kept pumping wages and pricing in the gutter for all these years. I feel that certification will help to weed out much of the riffraff which has plagued the industry.

Hey @canadianconcretepumper what’s the reason for the bag around the first sponge?
@canadianconcretepumper1979
Жыл бұрын
The foam cube sponges allow to pass air through them (especially when new). Wrapping them in plastic helps to keep air from getting past/through, which can push the sponge back into the blowout cap. Best solution for this is to use the orange sponge-balls as they are rubberized foam and seal much better than the square foam cubes (this is just what we happened to have on site this particular day).
