Nice ride down Magnolia Av. Takes me back to the 60s when we all cruised there.

I live really close to there! I recognize that left turn from Tibbets onto Magnolia by Marcy library! Roll down Gardena Dr from Brockton to Palm and I will wave at you!

Very nice build! How are you getting the mechanical injection to work so well on the street? Do you just have a rear mount cell, no front? You running gas or alky?

Thanks! It's gas, has surge tank up front fed from tank in trunk. Mechanical injection takes some fiddling with, I've been around this stuff for a while.

Awesome ride man. I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I love the Anglia. It's a throw-back to the 60's when I used to go to the dragstrip. I noticed that you have a hilborn injection system onbourd. I've read that racing injectors are hard to tune for the street but yours sounds awesome. I ran an injected nitro car on the track many years ago and also a 92" wheelbase 32 bantom with an enderly injection system so I'm familiar with racing injection. You give me hope for my plans. How is the cooling issue with the blower? It didn't seem to have an issue waiting for red lights so I'm thinking you have that handled pretty well. I'm a ways off yet before I get started on my project car but I hope you keep the good videos coming. They are getting me motivated (Y)

Thank You! Mechanical injection is designed to run at idle and full throttle. They tend to lean out just off idle. Mine still isn't right but is drivable for short distances. Runs a tad warm(210 deg). My 5.38 gear and several other things don't help. In the early 70's I drove an injected nitro funnycar, check out the I have video in my channel.

I sold my 49 16 years ago, I am trying to locate it. I sold it to a guy in Prince Albert Saskatchewan and he sold it to some one in British Columbia. Can anybody help me find it?

Where's the vin plate in the engine compartment located? We have a 48 Anglia that was a former drag car and it's missing.

I think in the left side firewall. Mine was also an ex drag car. Check with www.angliaobsolete.com/ They have a lot of info.
