As a long time BOC fan I enjoyed your review a lot. You could try their live album On Your Feet Or On Your Knees next. Especially the version of Subhuman, it's great. You'll find it here on YT

Career of evil , Cagey Cretins , Dominance & Subnmission , Harvester of Eyes , Flaming Telepaths , Subhuman , ME262 , Astronomy. Rarely has an album got better song titles. Years ago someone on ceefax asked about which BOC album they should buy & every answer was Secret Treaties. Killer guitars , particularly on D&S & ME262. If you haven't got it go & buy it. Total classic.

Secret Treaties is the only album I can think of where singer/guitarist, Buck Dharma, doesn't sing on any of the tracks. He of course sings 'Don't Fear the Reaper' and 'Burnin' for You'. Fire of Unknown Origin was what you were trying to say about the hooded figures. That is my number 2 album after Secret Treaties, and not just because of Burnin' for You. A few of the songs from Origin were written for the movie Heavy Metal, but only one song made the cut. Brothers Albert (drummer) and Joe (bass) Bouchard were a big part of the first decade of the bands existence. Hope you enjoy the ride.

Check out their classic "5 guitars" song. Yes the drummer leaves the kit and joins the band to play guitar. kzitem.info/news/bejne/r5CIz4pmqpN7noY

Cant wait to check those out! Lately I've been listening to a lot of 2020 albums but once I hear the best of 2020 its time to dig back into the classics my friend!

Subhuman was originally titled Blue Oyster Cult. It was sung by Buck on Imaginos in 1988 and by Albert on Re-Imaginos in 2020. All three sound different. Buck's is my least favorite version.

Imaginos or Heaven Forbid are truly wonderful, although almost any Album would be good. Mirrors, Curse of the hidden mirror the list is extensive.
