Nice video interesting. On your tow camera sled, can you give details about just the lighting system. Like the idea of overhead lighting focus downward. Thanks

Thanks Bill, the overhead lights help to eliminate the back scatter seen in the video image. Moving the lights away from the camera lens, and at a different angle, helps to reduce the amount of particulate that is lit up, and seen in the video image. If the lights are close to the camera you see a lot of light reflecting back in to the lens (from particulate in the water).

I'm surprised to see the BlueROV2 did ok at 1050' depth. I'd have expected it to implode.

They are using aluminum enclosures now, instead of the acrylic tube, so they have a pretty good depth rating now as far as implosion goes.

what does yellow cable contain? power and signal?

The way the ROV was set up for this dive the yellow tether only carries data (video and telemetry) over a single pair. The ROV is battery powered.
