Donald Campbell's famous hydroplane Bluebird gained it's new lease of life on a Scottish loch this week. The restoration of the vessel has been a painstaking process, and its return to the water an emotional sight for many.
Few have as strong a connection to Bluebird as Robbie Robinson. He was a lake marshal on Coniston Water on the day it crashed, killing his family friend Campbell as he tried to break the world water speed record.
Having witnessed the tragedy and then Bluebird's retrieval from the lake decades later, he's been watching her rebirth closely. Kim Inglis spoke with Robbie earlier.
