Hey Happy New year to you Joe. Have been following you for a month or so. Really like what I have seen so far, love the song choices and now the blues lessons also spotted some JJ Cale, Right up my street so have started a regular donation. Excellent value for money. My goal for 2018 is to do an open mic night and I believe with your lessons and dedicated practice time I shall achieve it.

Hey Joe, your riff at 6:20 sounds like a simple version of Freddie King’s Hide Away. Although I like SRV’s cover better. Hope to be able to play it one day. This is a good starting point, thanks!
@JoeMurphysGuitarlessons

Hi Bob, first of all thanks for your support @ Patreon. Yeh there are some similarities with Freddie King. Often simplicity works as good as anything else. It’s amazing what can be done with just a few notes. It’s a journey and along the way we deepen our understanding until one day, we can fully express ourselves through our instrument. Which is far more important than how many notes we play or how quickly we play them. It is my hope to be able to help people grow as musicians. Keep plucking 😉
