Why not put solar on top of your rv and charge it that way?

There is one panel up there now for the coach battery, and it helps that battery when I'm running only 12v accessories. I don't think there is enough room up there to add enough panels to make any noticeable difference on the Bluetti. I could be wrong, I should measure it out, I'd like to get all the solar I could.

Nice video! I own already 3 bluettis eb240 eb70 and eb3a and I am very grateful with their overall performance this one is going soon to be the 4th one! 😂. I saw at your display that the power lift mode 💪 was on the time you was charging the batteries from your rc car, be careful because in this mode you are not supposed to use electronics only things with only resistance inside like water heater or hair dryer etc. Because of the low voltage in this mode it is possible to destroy sensitive consumers.

Wow great tip, I didn't realize that in lift mode. I'll change it, and thanks for the heads up.

You can never have too many apps, on your phone when you go camping. Then all you need is a power-station to charge your phone. Then you can check the power-station using the app!

I have been thinking about purchasing a Bluetti , I do a lot of camping and depend on my Honda 2000 and the big onboard gas hog 5000 kw generator . I wonder how many watts of solar panel it would take to recharge that Bluetti AC180P to 100% on a sunny day. You should ask Bluetti if you could give your viewers a discount coupon.

They recommended a 200w solar panel system for this, but they didn't say how long that would take to charge. It's a nice unit, it would probably work well for what you're doing.

You can also charge the bluetti with the generator. Takes a little over an hour. Great for cloudy days when solar isn’t cutting it, and then you don’t have to run the generator for longer than it takes to recharge the power station. Edit: He mentioned this in the video, but I commented before he mentioned it. 🤪

How do you get 15k likes when the video came out 13 seconds ago? 😎😎

It shows 15 likes now, maybe that was a glitch. I'm not that popular.... 😁

I just recently bought the AC180P as well as the 200 watt solar panels. I love this power station!

The power stations are pricey but convenient. A LiFe battery 1.4kw + inverter 2kw + charger is about half or even less than the power station.

Well, this device cost $800, and a 100AH lithium battery is about $300 on the low end, and a 3,000w inverter is about $350, then there are all the other features this comes with. Not to say I couldn't have equipped the RV with something comparable, but with this device I can use it for things other than the RV.

@@DougBugBuilder $800 would be nice. it shows to be $1100 though when I click the link. peak 3kw pure sine inverters are pricey. 100ah battery cant really maintain that high output continuously though, typically.

@@yurishnirman3847 You're right, sorry, it's been months since I was pricing these out. When I was comparing pricing I was looking to add (2) batteries, a 3,000w inverter, and another 200w solar panel. That's what I was using to compare the two.

@@DougBugBuilder that is nice setup. I run in my RV one battery, 1200W pure sine inverter, and 200W solar.
