Honestly, if this happens Bluetti should be replacing or repairing it for free 100%. This is a battery pack that costs like $2,000 with a BMS, it should not be possible to deplete the battery to the point it causes damage.

I just want to say thanks for making this video! I had the same issue, only the green light would come on, nothing from the screen. I had the help from a man at a car battery shop who knew how to recharge batteries. I have the AC200 from the Indiegogo campaign, and the battery itself is a little different than yours, but we just unplugged the wires, and brought the voltage up from 32v to 45v with his battery charger. Once I reassembled it, sure enough the screen powered on. Said 0% charge, and then accepted the wall charger. This Bluetti is back in action, baby!

I've fixed power tool batteries the same way. The latest one was a Dewalt battery that wouldn't accept a charge. I found that the the total voltage had dropped below the minimum for the charger to operate...one cell was low, bring the total down. I just boosted the one cell and presto!

Thanks Peter, I used this as well. There are three cables on top that need to be unplugged, someone else had that info. Jehu Garcia took it apart starting with the trim, then the screws on the bottom and on top, remove three connectors that go around the upper board. Then pull the upper half off lifting one side tipping it up so you can reach underneath and disconnect the one last connector underneath. Then unscrew the terminals and connect to the charger. I taped a wire to the inside and then the outside and made sure there was no continuity, worked good. Started with 39.7 volts, charged it to 47.6 volts in about an hour. then put it back together, plugged in the charger and charged it up in a few hours.

Fyi, the ports will turn off when it reaches a given state of charge (~5%). Bluett generally has the cutoff set around 5-8% of the capacity of the battery to protect the cells. However, the issue with Bluetti's design is that their control electronics have a parasitic drain that is fairly high (like 1-2%) per day. So, if you ran it down to the cutoff point using the USB, inverter or DC connector, it was likely that the internal microcontroller drained the remaining charge on battery. That is why they recommend that you plug it in and charge to 60-80% every 3-6 months to account for the parasitic drain of the internal electronics. The manual states: "(4) When the battery level drops to 0%, the DC and AC output will automatically turn off, and ONLY when the battery power is recharged to more than 5%, the DC and AC output will be turned on again."

I was able to use this trick to get my battery working again, including using the brick and jumper cables to do the charging. This is a huge oversite in the BMS. Taking this battery apart is also a pain. Despite being very patient removing the trim I still broke a few tabs. There is double sided tape holding the trim on in between tabs. The other challenge is reconnecting the two wires that connect the power button and one other to lower board. I had my wife hold the top part low enough for the cables to reach while I connected them, I then used a piece of string to pull the other wires back up once the top piece was in place and lower connection made.

I have one of these and although mine hasn't discharged past the point of no return, I have noticed a high level of parasitic drain even when AC and DC are off. It also will turn itself on with the smallest solar input but won't turn off when solar goes dark so if it can discharge itself to zero if left unattended on dark cloudy days. I am wondering if you could have resurrected it with a high voltage input(50-150v) to the solar MPPT controller?

I heated the van up to 65f / 18c for over two hours, put some heat around the bluetti power-station, but nothing happens, it stayed in fault code 41. I canced / reset the falut code a couple time, still nothing. I put the bluetti power station today in my warm, heated house and try a day later again. If I can still not charge with ac, I send the power-station back to the dealer, there is a 2 year warranty in europe. It is to bad, that there are so many issues are popping´ up in the net´ with the bluetti power stations.

Honestly, it's a pretty great unit to have. Only thing I have to mention is if you're using it to power something really small, say 30 watts or something, know that the inverter is terribly inefficient. When the AC power is turned on, the unit draws a constant 35 watts so if you're running another 35 watts expect to get half the battery life you're expecting. At higher loads this isn't as noticeable, mine loes about 2% per hour just being turned on with the AC inverter on. What you can do is use a different small inverter, say 75 watts or something through the 12v system which is far more efficent.

I haven't kept it running all night with unreasonable loads and can't image leaving it on for extended periods unattended. I will check the parasitic loss from the inverter after reading this, but only when I can watch it like a hawk. ➿
