Hi We're a family with 4 kids and just want to go tent disperse camping for 1-2 weeks in the summer, but would need something to run our 100watt minni fridge (we can't afford a 12v camping fridge). Which best power station would be better than this eb70bluetti. I'm kind of shocked because supposedly its one of the best brands... Would the bluetti 55 work?? Or the river2max?? would you recommend with 100 or 200 watt panel..??

@@Emivioricomex It will depend how much the 100W fridge actually consumes - the compressor will not run constantly. Ideally I'd test it over 24 hour with an energy monitoring plug - look at the kWh value. Then match that with a power station in your budget. But over 1-2 weeks you'll need to top up most portable power stations to run a fridge like that. I quite like the Bluetti panels - they're quick to deploy.

I was looking at the Bluetti 700w one. Was on sale but ill wait for black friday instead. I might find a cheaper brand for 100 bucks less if it had good reviews

Great review .... Woudnt touch that unit nowadays unless it was mega mega cheap ... awful battery power remain display, needs a massive noisy power brick, no app feature and longer charging than newer models .... i know its more expensive but the AC180 is the way to go IMO ... I also have the EB3A which is a great little power station albeit with a small 268kw battery

Thanks. I tend to agree - but if you can get it for a good price I like its range of outputs and it has decent output for its size - and an LFP battery. Taking a look at the AC180 shortly 😁.

Nice informative video. Can you have something like a portable car refrigerator plugged in while charging the EB70 via the solar panels? Or does everything need to be unplugged while charging through the solar panels? Thanks
@TheTechnologyMan

Yes absolutely - it supports passthrough charging.

We live in Canada and have this Bluetti. We fully charged the unit snd hoped to power our Nespresso machine. No luck. Can it be done with this unit? It looks like there was coffee coming out of your Nespresso. I wasn’t clear on you explanation about overload useage as the Nespresso needs 1300 watts
@TheTechnologyMan

No it doesn't power my Nespresso as I discuss in the video. It overloaded the EB70 which is a little disappointing since it only pulls its maximum power for a short time.

Is it possible to connect an inverter having a high wattage of 2000W from the 12v cigarette socket inorder to run a devices having a wattage of 1200w to 2000W?
@TheTechnologyMan

I'm not sure what you mean - the 12V output is only 120W?
@andrewverden459

hopefully, this will suffice to power a 1270 W microwave at least at 3/5 of its maximum capacity
@TheTechnologyMan
Жыл бұрын
Possibly but microwaves tend to achieve their lower powers by pulsing their full power - which will easily overload the EB70.

You shouldn't have to, but I wouldn't personally leave it plugged in permanently.
