SVG schooled the Xfinity drivers and was the fastest guy on track in the cup race before having an issue on the dash causing him to speed on pit road and then losing first gear. Without those issues its a Top 10 or 5 in a Kaulig car which isn't hugely competitive, so I wouldn't say we saw he was human this weekend.

These guys just cant get over how badly SVG schooled the cup guys at Chicago. SVG worked his way back to the top 10 after a speeding penalty. he easily gets a top 10 if he doesn't lose first gear. Bret, in particular, acts like SVG walks around saying he's the best NASCAR driver in the world, or that he "beat your favorite driver." Nope, SVG is a confident, yet humble, guy that is a great road racer. Got an arguably BS penalty on Saturday that f'd his race.

I'll admit it. I became a fan of Nascar this year after watching the Bubba Wallace "Race" and "Nascar Full Speed" documentaries. Prior to that, I would watch with my dad as a kid. That was 30 years ago. I picked a great season to get back into it. Every race has been great to watch. The commentary during the race and podcasts to listen to afterwards keeps me engaged. Keep up the great work.

TJ was spot on with his comment about C.Bell v. KFB…. KB is assuming that bell is too far back to even attempt the pass. The only reason Bell has a chance is because KB opens up the entry to try and cross the 45. Bell saw the very small window and poked in there - but probably was not even going to come close to making the pass - only thing he’d accomplish is ruining both their laps in turn 1

I like cota but for nascar they should straight line from turn 4 to turn 6 and turn left and straight line down to the back straight and turn left again into the stadium area. This gets rid of the track limits in the esses and the shorter lap time will make yellows a little bit more likely as there is less time for a car to get moving again before the leaders come by.

I think that Chase is losing a fanbase. For many fans who grew up watching NASCAR it has been a struggle linking to a driver after guys like Dale Earnhardt sr./jr, Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin, Davey Allison, and more recently Kevin Harvick are no longer on the track. A lot of people gravitated to Chase because of his last name. From many fans point of view there is just not much to gravitate towards. He doesn't seem to connect to his fans very well.

Cota sucked but all road course races dont this one just did. And if you go to a road course race you definitely need to walk around to enjoy the different views of the track. At Sonoma i use to buy 2 tickets to the race one main grandstand and one turn 2. Main grandstand at Sonoma sucks but you get pre race festivities concert air show driver intros etc. Then before race starts run up the hill to turn 2 for start of race ( turn 2 is best for starts and restarts ) stay there till stage 2 restart then go back down the hill to the bridge and go into the family zone ( no ticket needed for this section its where the scoring tree is ) great views of a lot of track from this area probably the one spot you can see most of the track. Then we actually parked in the field behind the s's so before end of race we make our way to the s turn granstands ( usually by the end of race the track ticket workers dont care if you walk right into turn 9 grandstands ) we watch the last part of the race and get the views of them coming down the track through the s's right when the checkered flag flies we hightail it back down the hill to the car and get outta dodge before all the traffic clogs the exits 😂

And he also realizes that KB had reason to be mad at him. Some people realize that if they piss someone off, the other person might come say something about it and that doesn't give them the right to punch them in the face. Your take on the Crafton "fair fight" at Dega was about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Waylon Jennings told David Allan Coe once, "David, if you're really a badass, you don't have to go around telling people all the time. They just figure it out." Or something along those lines.

Obscure penalties at one spot on the track, and in the next section the TV broadcast is saying how you have to drop your right side tires off in the dirt to hook the edge of the pavement to make lap time. Look like a bunch of clowns carving up the grass and having dirt all over the track. Btw, SVG a track limit penalty that no one saw and TV didnt show, but TV shows Parker Kligerman yard sales the esses and no penalty? 🤡

Since when is 5 or 36 1/4 of the schedule? What math is that fan talking about. Also I love Nascar fans. If every race isn't an A++ they throw a fit like an 8 year old. Tough shit. Every race isn't gonna be an awesome show. There are either too many cautions, not enough cautions, too many wrecks, not enough wrecks, stage cautions, no stage cautions at road courses, not enough tire wear, too much tire wear, not enough fights, too many fights, not enough mechanical problems, too many mrchanical problems. Oh but the numbers are in the wrong place 😢😢😢😢 I'm not watching any more. Only one lug😢😢😢 I'm not watching anymore. For f... sake shut the f.. up lol. drivers don't have enough personality, this driver shows too much personality. I don't care what Nascar does, changes, or doesn't change. Their entitled little fans are gonna cry cry cry. The race was eeegh okay. I enjoyed it. Could have been better for sure. If I am fortunate enough to sit back and enjoy some racing I am happy. Some of these fans are just ridiculous. Pretty funny to listen to though. At least racing has more variable's than a stupid ass game where grown men play with balls and run up and down the same Field over and over. Oh wait l, astro turf or real grass being the difference. Oh and the colors of the arena. Also if it weren't for the fans crying in 2003, Nascar would have stayed with a full point season. They made a change because fans complained. Now they complaining about how the championship is decided. If they went back to full seasons points people would start throwing a fit as well. Guaranteed

If we can have 6 superspeedway "races" we can have 5 or 6 road course races where drivers actually matter to some degree. I don't get the whining about them. If Goodyear brought better tires and nascar had better cars we'd be fine everywhere. The tracks aren't aren't the issue. The whiny fan base and NASCAR's BS chasing an APPEARANCE of good racing gets in the way.
