@bmwe24M6driver I really have no idea, but the engine has made 304 bhp with tripple Weber dcoes and a 284deg cam. Im using a Catcams 299deg. The stock alpina cam is a 280deg.

@bmwe24M6driver It works great. I use Haltech e6x and this sysem supports Alpha-N (TPS vs Rpm.)

Just curious ,have you had the car on the dyno yet? My warmed over 9:1 CR. B35 with a 292 cam some port work on the intakes a miller MAF and chip made 202 RWHP. Your set sure looks cool !

For itbs, once adapted what do you used instead if the original air flow sensor? I have an m30b28 and want itbs but I have no idea how to make the car run without the sensor and not using megasquirt or other not oem part

how much extra power do you think it will make over the stock intake manifold? are you running the Alpina B9 cam?

how did you fit the m5 throttle bodies to the m30b35? are they a straight fit?

They arn´t a straight fit. You either need an adaptorplate or cut and reweld the flanges on the ITBs.

Is this the m30b35 sohc 12v? if so other then the webers cams what are the differences , injectors , pistons ,valves , bore? I'm a young car enthusiast who has recently purchased a high mileage but clean bodied e24 and looking to make some more power out of it i know these engines have vast tuning potential even in the sohc format!

Alpina started with the M90 version of the M30. It has the same block, rods amd pistons as the later M88 but with the SOHC M3 head. It was placed in M635CSI from 1978-1980 on Euro cars. They are the fastest variant aside from the M88 which was the same but with twin cam heAd, ITBs and equal length exhaust manifolds. The early e24s are very cool preferably before 1981, sAme engine as E12 M535i which was the first M5 before the 1984 revival of the M5 in e28 chassis. We in the US never got the M88 only modified S38 from 88-89. True euro cars can now be imported as many have already done.
