Bruh your editing and filming is actually so good for how small your channel is, not to mention you actually tackle normal issues with the m3! Thanks for the dope content while my m3 is put away for winter 😭 Cheers

Had this problem with my e46 m3 but my car was running rough, i had checked all my injector and for some reason on all 6 injectors only 2 out of the 4 holes of the injectors were injecting fuel, if that makes sense after replacing all 6 injectors she’s been solid!

Nice! Glad to hear you were able to solve the problem. Only 2 of the 6 working is crazy though, I could imagine it was running super rough cause of that!

Is it still starting first time? I have the same issue with my '04 M3, but it only started after major maintenance. Rod bearings, Vanos, Head gasket, new rings, just about everything, and i'm pretty sure they must have cleaned my injectors. Since then we changed starter, fuel pump relay, O2 sensors (not related) and now going to change some kind of valve on the fuel rail. They're finding little stuff every time. I'll give this a try.

Yeah mine is still starting first time luckily. I heard that people are having similar issue as well but having different solutions. Did you already change the fuel filter or check the fuel pressure?
@bez2944

The fuel pressure has been checked many times, but since it's on/off thing, they can't see a problem everytime. As i said, next is a valve on the fuel rail and i will ask them to clean the injectors too UPDATE.. All was done but no luck. Another new battery did nothing either. I suspect Vanos oil pressure. Maybe the cams are not going back to inicial position after oil pressure is gone.. perhaps because it keeps oil pressure on it. Some valve or solenoid??

@@bez2944any update on this? The issue I historically exists in 2003-2004 models. Not sure why. I have a 2001 and never have this issue. I have 32k miles and have owned since new. I have always used Chevron gas which has Techron and seems to keep the fuel system clean. I replaced the fuel filter at around 25k or so. I’ve never gone below quarter of a tank. Usually at 3/4 tank then top off.

Dont wanna jinx it, but have my M3 for 4 years now and the only problem i had is loud diff after 4.1 ratio rebuild. Other than that all is tip top ✌️

I swapped to a 4:1 ratio when I rebuilt too. Had the same thing. Tons of diff whine starting around 50mph at low throttle. Some people on forums say that non-oem diff oil can be culprit(especially if you use redline diff oil). Did your diff noise go down over time or is it still there?

@@iviaximum9543 the moment i put in original BMW oil it went away. The have this friction modifier substance in it. Without it i think you are scrwed. Just get that oil. May help to solve everything. Be ready for steep bill tho

Geno! Before you did this, did the system hold pressure once primed? I am having the same issue. Have replaced the filter, one of the lines, the fuel pump with an AEM unit and the injector seals with no change. One thing I noted was my fuel pressure drop immediately after priming to 70 PSI.

Hey thanks for the video, i am currently trying to solve a starting hesitation with my car (when cold). I was wondering if you noticed any other symptoms other then the poor cold start. Did it start fine when warm?, or was the warm start for you also an issue? Mine is only hesitating on cold start (minor) but starts great when warm, i suspect it to be the Injectors being faulty. Thanks!
