Most people think that a super fast car means it’s a good car. So wrong. Good car is about the full package. The speed, the sound the performance, the feel the car connect with you. E92 M3 is a car that you will never be bored with. Everyday it bring you a new joy and connect with you every single time you drive it.

The fuel economy is not bad..its awful..can only be used as a weekender and the car is not special enough to be a weekender. For a car that heavy..its torque is just unacceptable. Still fun to drive no doubt.

In 2016 I had a 2006 BMW 525ix, I was going to sell it and buy myself something once I graduate college and get a big boy job. I remember looking at E61s, F10 535i xDrive etc... I eventually decided Im either going to get a F10 535 msport, E92 M3 or a F32 435 if I can find one. I ended up test driving a E92 M3 (this is 2017 now), and to this day I remember the test drive. It was a DCT, comp pack, car which is what I wanted. I ended up looking at a 435 right after and I was sold on that only because it was the same price, less miles, way newer, more tech, better on gas and at the time the N55 had enough credit and aftermarket support where I figured it would be "financially responsible" to get the F32. Fast forward to now, I dont own any modern BMWs. I own 2 E31s that I restored and my E53 X5 (2006) daily driver. To this day I still wonder "what if" I got that E92 M3. In the last year Iv been looking to add something "fun" to the fleet so I immediately start to look at 135is, 2 series BMWs and I was pretty close to getting a 2016-2018 M2....and shortly after I found myself looking at E92 M3s again. Not sure if Ill pull the trigger to actually buy one....but I came to a conclusion that the E92 M3 holds a special place for anyone who driven one.

E92 sounds awesome. I have the same exterior color and the fox red interior. DCT though, wish I got the manual. Sometimes I think about getting something else but I just can't let it go.

@@marcosmarquez2926DCT is slightly quicker than 6MT in this car, doesn’t make it a better driving experience. The purest and most enjoyable way to experience the E92 M3 is with a manual. If you really love manual no way would you pick an automatic especially in this car.

Every time I think of getting a newer BMW, I hop into my E90 and feel the organic nature of everything, from the smoothness of the NA I6 to the way the steering talks to you, and I forget about the newer BMWs. I can only imagine how awesome the M3 variant is to drive.

I feel the same way. I have an E90 and understand exactly what you mean... Especially since they dont make NA I6's anymore

Currently own a 2007 E92 328i in RWD 6 MT w/ sport package. Love it and saving up for the E92 M3 when I can comfortably afford it! Only big decision is DCT vs MT and I flip flop every day haha. Love the OEM+ build, cheers!

I went thru exactly same dilemma 6 yrs ago but decided it had to be manual, right choice for me I think, I go from 2nd or 3rd to 6th quite often, can't do that with sequential box. You hit triple digits and then chill. Still love it, almost identical to his rig here and only 56k miles, stock and pristine. (I'd never buy a modified nor one with 4 or 5 owners, they didn't "own it" they rented, I'm 2nd owner)

As an owner of an e92 M3 (manual) with single tone (black) interior, I love your 2 tone one! 🙂 I didn't know that existed! And why would you need a keyhole? So that you can get in if the battery is flat or the CDL plays up! I'm 5'10, my car has electric seats, seat height seems fine to me. Oh and I'll have to remember that driving my M3 is good therapy, M3 V8 therapy, love it! 😁

Have very similar unit, carbon roof, comp, manual, 56k miles, white, stock. 2011 2 door, 2nd owner, still love it every time but try to keep it special by not daily-ing it. Owned for about 6 yrs, last I checked it's still worth at least the $35k I paid, probably more. (not to pretend it's an "investment", lol)

How does this compare to driving the E39 M5? From your experience, what’s the differences for both?

M3 is more rowdy and has much better road feel, generally more sporty. The M5 is a gentleman’s sedan that’s very capable and more mature feeling. More of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

$15 to ship the old oil and oil filter back to then, right? But then the next oil and filter change, you have to pay full price again. You make it sound like you buy oil and a filter from them and then you get replacements for life for the cost of shipping the used stuff back.

What Toyota is with more in the future or even the same amount? They all depreciate substantially vs my car which is up nearly $10k from when I bought it 7 years ago.

Great video and content 👌🏼 an unbiased opinion but on this topic, you're sadly mistaken. I'm a huge BMW fan but you can't compare a BMW to a Toyota, it's two different classes of vehicles. It's like comparing apples to pears. Also you're in a BMW, more so a M3, it's a luxury sports car, Toyota isn't known for that (besides Supra and Celica) unless you're popping through to Lexus Yes the E9X has appreciated because of various reasons, which proper enthusiast's know, but there are Toyotas which appreciate in value as well, and overall Toyota holds its value pretty well, it just probably depends on the market you're in. In South Africa a typical example would be a 2005 Toyota Tazz/Conquest. They retailed for R35k ($1843) back in 1996 when launched then near the end of production they went for R75k ($3950), depending on mileage they are now R110k ($5795) which is up 46% (ZAR value on a 2005). Maintenance on a Toyota is far cheaper than a BMW and that's fact. I'm not sure on which type of oil you use, but oem lubricants and parts are way more expensive from BMW compared to a Toyota. So yes, Toyota does hold its value, appreciate and maintenance costs are cheaper than a BMW

DCT is a perfect match for this engine, and the downshift blips are heavenly. Only time I wish I had a manual is clutch kicking out of junctions but I'm past that now haha.

I just love the engagement of a manual with a sports car. I get bored with the DCT even on supercharged cars
