Adam is really pimping himself out at the moment, he's on quite a few channels. Really enjoying his new reporting. Very temped by the BMW package. The fuel range is the real killer, and the fact it still weighs more than the KTM790/890 despite the less range. How it drops will also be important too.

I have the 850 GSA since it came out...really In love with it, but missing the adjustable suspension, and some Kgs less for off...looking forward for the change! (I even considered the Triumph 900), but I am so in love with my GS that I will stick with the new 900!!!

I wonder if is going to feel top heavy as the T7, worried for the protection guard and the skid plate bolted to the engine, not to the frame. Thanks for sharing.

It's good that they are using the same engine across models. It will keep costs down and reliability up.

Thanks!!!!! IMO, (BTW, I LOVE BMW'S).....it will be interesting to see how this new F900GS & also the F-800GS stack up against the "lesser priced" machines such as Suzuki 800VStrom & Honda's Transalp (one thing I hope they improved is/ was there notchy quick shifter of the current generation?!?)

Correcting the mistake of not having adjustable front suspension on the front of the 850. The f900 is still very heavy.

0:36 shows zero room for a boot on the foot peg. Looks like the rider will be standing with the boot heel on the exhaust pipe. But it’s great that it has a nice iPad for a dash and the oil pan/exhaust will take the load when the bike runs out of ground clearance.

Too bad that the front makes it looks almost exactly like the Honda cb500x. The GS-ness is kinda gone.

Somebody kindly explained to me why you would pay 14 to 15 thousand pounds for this bike versus all the amazing competitors that are thousands of dollars less. It's not like the asian-made engine has been all that reliable. I have close friends who work at BMW shop. A strip down parts bike. But why would you buy this over aTenere? Tuareg? 800de I am really just curious to other people's opinion. Cruise control? I do understand that he said starting at 11.5 thousand pounds. But a starting point of 14,500 US dollars is just too much. It does look cool though

To me this is just BMW catching up to the rest of the market. Unfortunately they are only catching up and not actually surpassing them. The Tenere 700 and KTM 790/890 really changed things. Then you had the Tiger 900 which was a F850GS killer too. From what I can see this bike is still heavier than the KTM, and has a substantially smaller tank. It's also looks like it's lost a lot of the wind protection too, which made the F800/850 a decent middleweight long distance tourer. Still looking forward to the reviews though.

Chinese motor inside? Looks like the old 650 on steroids. But the 650 Rotax engine was reliable. Still have no trust in the chinese motor and still i dont see the point in paying a premium price for a chopstick heart
