Just a quick tip, always spray your new brake discs with brake cleaner - they are greased ;)

Some basic mistakes: 1. Uncleaned hub 2. Hub curvature measurement not performed (allowable curvature is 0.02mm) 3. Brake disc centering screw not replaced 4. Apply grease on the hub to the bug 5. Failure to clean the feed guides 6. I haven't seen so much rust in a BMW F30 for a long time :)

You should replace the plastic jacking point on ths car . They are readily available. Also noticed you used a grease on the rear of the pads. Was this copper grease which has a high melting point . If i were you i would also have cleaned off the corrosion on the bearing and replaced the 6mm hex disc retaining screw as a matter of course. Saves all the hassle next time if they have to be stripped down.

Thanks, it's very useful. There are tons of corrosion in the wheel area. Too much salt where you live? How much km's?

Hi there it’s got 100k miles on it now and yes that’s the UK for you the roads are very harshly salted. However the wheels it’s more likely to be a bad refurb/repaint from a previous owner.
