Finally a clear video to understand the differences between these 2 motorbikes. Thanks.

Great review, I have the f750 merely because it fits my height perfectly. I absolutely love the technology and can't wait to add some accessories to mine. I also don't go off-road so I wouldn't really need the 850 Nobby tires, I do mostly city/highway for now.

That seems very appropriate reasoning. I think that's exactly how they were intended to be analyzed.

750 smaller than the 850 in height so I’m in love and remain in love with the 750 😃

750 is great and would not want higher seat to climb onto. 6' tall is perfect but the passenger seat being height is more of a challenge to get off.

I just bought the 750, I really like it; my only complaint is that it needs more power. (I came from a street triple). I don’t understand why BMW de-tuned the 850 and called it a 750; should have just sold them both as 850s: one an 850 gs enduro and the other an 850 gs sport.

MORE MONEY; MORE POWER. THEY SHOULD HAVE CONTINUED WITH THE 750

OK Burno I have justt bought a 750GS for the same reason you did back when you had yours. I want to learn how to be a better rider on the dirt and trails and my 1200 GS altthough is one of the best it is to big for me to pick it up as often as I will drop it, I did not sell it but bought the low suspension/low seat 750 and only have 300 miles on it and really love it. I hope that I get stronger and better rider I will say the same thing about my 1200 GS in the future.

I agree with your analysis of wheel sizes, even though it doesn't seem to be common sense to most. I hate 17in wheels. I like 18in in the rear, and 21in on the front. I think 17in front wheels are more prone to the death wobble too.

GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO STAY WTH 750GS; LOWER SEAT; SOLID WHEELS VS. SPOKED. DONT NEED THE EXTRA POWER.

NOW WITH NO 750GS' THE NEW ONE WILL HAVE TO BE TRIUMPH. WITH THE LOWER SEAT.

More off road usage get the 850. More road usage get the 750.

1.7m so your 10 cm chorter or 4". makes a big difference in leg room.

i am not off roading . so main concern is 180cm; 6' is hi enough for comfy leg position.

how tall are you. ? seam leg room with the shorter 750 to not be cramped up. I have an f800R and its not at all good for 6' persons.

would the lowest seat height on the 750 upset the handling?

Not really upset, but it is something you need to get used to it.
