I got that one mirror issue as well. Friggin right side bolt just don’t stay tight. Best just leave it off. I jus never take a right turn. Problem solved. Like those rear shocks. They look good.

I have a feeling you might be onto something! Since the clutch lever assembly is aluminum, you obviously don‘t want to overtighten the mirror. To stop the mirror from turning I would place a „ribbed lock washer“ right under the mirror shoulder and then one more under the lock nut. Sure this is not „OEM“ but it might be a great improvement that could hold up. Taking off your mirror works, but then you‘ll be turning your head more frequently😄 Thanks a lot! I am still eagerly looking for parts to rebuild the original shock absorbers. Once I find a solution I will be able to help many Airhead enthusiasts out there, as most original shock absorbers (BOGE) need to be rebuilt. Thank you for your comment. Regards Andreas

I thought I noticed new Ikon rear shocks with adjustable rebound.

Yes you did. The rear shock absorbers are made by Ikon and they are brand new. I have not found a solution for the original BOGE shock absorbers just yet, but I am still eager to find a solution. I would really love to install the original ones back onto this bike in the near future!

@@WorkshopRebuild I used the same Ikons for my R60/5 and for the same reason. If I ever come across replacement shocks I'll let you know.
