Thanks for this great tutorial! I'm about to tackle my front seal gasket right now and this put all the steps in perfect perspective!

Mad respect, good tutorial. Love what you you said the end. If you in fairbanks let me know if you need to use the tool. I wish I was in fairbanks because I need to do mines😂

Hey man I have a question do you have to use that specific sealant?
@audimotive

It comes with the kit. Not sure how you would inject your own sealant in those split locations

EXTRA TIP: You ONLY need the first tool to remove the seal. Once you screw it down you use the supplied dry wall screws and screw them into the seal through the holes on that first tool. Then you unbolt the tool and use a wrench to twist the tool’s pin and it backs out the seal towards you.

Cant u just replace the crankshaft pulley Do u really need to replace seal as well

You want to replace this seal if your belt snapped and wrapped around the crank pulley and then even contaminates the seal or gets sucked through into the engine. Once I pulled the seal I found BELT BEHIND THE SEAL! So my engine would have been wrecked if I just changed the pulley. Now I also have to drop the oil pan gasket to check for belt debris

The seal isn't too expensive or hard to replace. Cheaper and easier than doing the job again just for the seal
