I Think this is a great video. Lighting works really well with the subject matter. Did you use mainly available light and was it shot in a flat profile then graded a fair bit to crush the blacks? One way or another, the end result looks brilliant and extremely cinematic. Almost enough to make me give my Urban GS an oil change
@GGMediaWorks
4 жыл бұрын
Thank you sir. Yeah, I'd say it was 75% available light. I used a few little Litra lights for some of the under the bike shots and catch lighting on various shots. I shot in a flat profile and graded in post. The first few shots are from a Black Magic Pocket 6K camera that I was trying out so those were shot in B-RAW.

Nice filming. I would recommend showing the use of a torque wrench for the sump plug and oil filter for those not familiar with how tight these should be installed, although it’s good that you provided the torque values in the captions. Also, safest to wear disposable gloves when removing the filter to prevent risk of scalding, and used oil can be harmful to skin. I think all the RnineT range sound gorgeous even on standard silencers👍🏍

One question. That boxer oil is a fully syntethic one? Does the NineT needs synthetic oil or a mineral one?
@GGMediaWorks
4 жыл бұрын
You know, that's a good question. I didn't see anything in the BMW 9t manual about not using a synthetic oil. I do run mineral oil in my old M5. The Motorex website literally says that this oil was "specially developed for BMW air/oil-cooled boxer engines", so you can decide how much you believe that. So far the 9t has been running great with it.
