Yes, I am converting a 2003 BMW X5. I saw the video that you sent to Jack last week and decided to post some of the work that I have been doing in hopes that you would find it and contact me. The signal from the Jimstim is set for a 60-2 reluctor wheel. I'll be posting some other videos of the signals from the intake and exhaust cam shaft sensors and from a 58 tooth reluctor wheel that I have spinning on a drill press. What resistors should I use to step down the voltage?

Are you converting an X5? I'm quite interested as I'm actually doing much the same with a 5 series! One thing to be careful of is that if you do convince the ecu that the engine is running it will fire the fuel injectors and the spark plugs with the engine stopped! Is the signal from the jim stim 60-2? its quite easy to drop the voltage with two resistors. pm me if you need help.

I just want you to ask if you know how to acquire a data base. or maybe a personal list or how to make with Oscilloscope a Synchronized CKP+CMP signal.

what is the purpose of this test? to if tachometer reacts? you can do by pass test with test light and do the same as you do all here with this fancy tools. tachometer dont react in rpm here because he just sees only cranks sensor signal, fot sucsess it must see both ,can and crank sensors signals.
