That converter is for BNC to RJ 45. Not the other way around.

The camera is not POE. Only use the data cable to configure it initially. No need for those adapters. The data cable goes directly from the dvr to the camera. Once configured the camera will only work on wifi as an ip camera. You will have to supply 12v dc power directly to the camera

You have the wrong adapter. The adapter you have is to connect a analog camera using a Ethernet cable. I recommend using a coax to Poe converters. it’s sells on Amazon for about $60

you need an analog to digital encoder and they are quite expensive.

POE uses 48v AC not 12v DC, you might want to use POE INJECTER then the POE to BNC. If your connecting to DVR with POE port the cable MOST NOT have power @ the DVR.

Why do you use bnc cable?? Use ethernet cable only.
@shoebelias

because some places have prewired coax/bnc cable and they want to use IP cameras.

Hey you said you did ethernet wire from camera to BNC and it worked? Im trying to do that now but where did you get that convertor? I have the same camera like you and it has Lan cable connector on it and I have a BNC DVR connection. And your sating you got it to work?

@@shoebelias This is your title: BNC cable to IP camera/NVR The part where you said it doesn't work is the description and one has to click on the description to see that. Your TITLE comes up without clicking makes one assume this is more of a How to Make it Work video.
