I named my daughter Marley after Bob Marley. I used to sing his songs so he every night. She plays his music every night at bed now. I love reggae and I'm glad that, that rubbed off on her.

I love dis.... ❤ My people called them Buffalo Soldiers. Because of thier hair and they were soldiers. Our people saw your ancestors as a tribe and brought them into our tribe many times. That is why you see so many Cherokee with black tribe blood. Pretty people if I do say so mehself. 😊Still today, they mix with our tribe. And the babies! Omg! So pretty! The little boys look like beautiful soft brown skinned Braves, and the little girls are the same color, also strong and beautiful. And what beautiful hair! Sometimes you see some with the most beautiful shade of green eyes you have EVER seen! This comes sadly from white masters forcing themselves on our women and the black tribe women. Beautiful. All of you! always be Cherokee brothers and sisters. Today, they are not known by that old name. Buffalo Soldiers. Today, they are tsalagi.(Ja-law-gee) w/long g sound. You mixed blood Cherokee/Afro-American of African decent are beautiful brothers and sisters. Always been true to the people and that is why our tribe adopted your grandmothers and grandfathers and gave you all a home with us where you belong today. To us, your ancestors were not slaves. They were human beings! As you are to us always. ❤ Proud Cherokee people now and always!

Only in part. The Buffalo Solders were FREE black members of the 9th and 10th Calvary as well as the 24th and 25th Infantry Regiments of the US Army. Through their ranks came the majority of Afro-American Congressional Medals of Honor, and through those ranks the first black officers. They were heros, and why here in Wyoming the legacy of Black America is that of honor, courage, and self-sacrifice. True AMERICAN heros.
