They just mean he was the voice of the suffering people but obviously an international star. It's not necessarily offensive. He came from our country which is not the richest, and made an impact. They buried Bob at the National Arena which is for important events and some people questioned why but he was a cultural star and they buried Peter tosh there years later too. Bob would have been proud

Bob N. Marley, was the most wonderful man, some say extraordinary man, 3rd world singer, he stood his ground by being rooted & grounded as a Rastaman, I just am sorryful that I didn't get to meet him. This King of Raggie travelled around the world singing his heart out about his beliefs. His children, now even his grandchildren are able to live, sing, speak, & dance out his legacy... in this time & in his light. How many children has anyone ever heard of dancing at their Father's funeral. I have never heard of it other than his.. I sang at my Father's but to dance? When I watch some if Bob Marley's videos I like them much even say love them. He looked as if he was in a trance, he sang with his eyes closed a LOT...& He danced as if he was in church filled with the Holy spirit.. Truly a man of (JAH) GOD..
