I feel so happy to see how our big brothers were serious on real matters regarding black people worldwide and in the meantime it makes me sad seeing this new generation that has lost all the grounds and foundations that our big brothers constructed

Thanks for posting this . This must have been heart warming to Bob as he is hearing his African brothers talking about fighting for Africa independence. The fight is still on. Africa is still fighting for economic freedom.

First time I’ve seen this press conference. I was at this event! I was a huge Bob Marley & the Wailers fan and this was the only time I saw them. Tickets were $12 and the t-shirts were $6. Makes me wonder how much $$ they raised for the cause that day-doesn’t seem like much. I didn’t know that BM was ill w/cancer at the time and was stunned when he died just 1.5 years after this. One of the highlights of my life. I lived in the same town as Dick Gregory, local legend.

Listen my Brothers and sisters. Yes, it's sad to see things in the younger generation. But know this, they did not lose all the grounds and foundations that were laid by our Brothers and sisters. I agree that it looks that way, but it's crucial that we walk by faith and not by sight. Know that GOD is still in control. So it's important to forward in the LORDS plan. And if we follow the LORDS plan, we can save some. We may not be able to save all, but save as many as you can. Darkness will never overcome the LIGHT... And that's what Bro. Bob taught me...GOD BLESS ALL....OUR rewards are coming, don't give up, and never think we're defeated.

I may be wrong but I think his "that's your job" comment was in reference to the hostility the question asker experienced in South Boston.
