I CAN NOT name one Bob Seger song that is bad. Every song he sings is undeniably a song that touches you in some way. You WILL FEEL something whether it puts a smile on your face, a tear in your eye, gets you to tapping the table to the percussion beat or, off your ass and on your feet or just dancing in your seat. His music transcends time and space. Making you remember and FEEL those special times. Those unforgettable people. That favorite place. Thank you for making me feel my youth.

Thanks Jamel for the Bob Seger marathon! It's been a little tough on me to listen because of the memory of my best friend. About 5 years ago, my closest and best friend for about 25 years or so were actually heading to the Forum in Inglewood to see Seger in concert. My friend started feeling really ill on the way there, we arrived, but headed back home because something was not right with him. Anyway, a day or so later he was hospitalized, a week later he passed away, just some weird infection or something. Losing someone as close as that at a young age still hurts to this day, it was even harder to take than losing my Dad a month or so earlier. Anyway, can you do one more Bob Seger song, "Roll me Away" which was my friend's favorite Seger song? I'll probably cry listening to it, but you have to face these things in life, and he'll know I'm thinking about him. Thanks, and I love what you're doing!

The same guys who played all of Aretha Franklin's great hits. THE Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, are cooking on this one. This kind of funk and soul is what drew Seger to the South. Couldn't get that anywhere else. The guy playing that wild guitar, Pete carr, also played the lead guitar on the sad song, "Main Street." Pete died almost a year ago but his guitar legacy will live on forever. And thanks for the CD you made for me, Pete and rest in peace.
