Whatever…. I bet you a badger furr hat is nice and warm in the winter. By the way, almost every single item that you own, even your colognes, deodorants and shampoos and soaps come from animals, bro. The real lowlife scumbags are the ones who see the homeless in the destitute and walk over them without giving them a second glance, spare change or a meal…

Love badgers, Ive been researching them and I found out how remarkable they are. Did you know that the female mates with many other Males but in order for the ultimate survival rate holds her embryos in suspension so that her cubs are all born at the same time even though conceived at different times and by different fathers? They outlived wolves and have been around for 1/4 million years. Have fun with Bob, what a lovely little bear.

But most people who want exotic pets don't know how to properly care for them. That's the main reason I'd question anyone getting them because they can cause harm to themselves, the animal, and their own property potentially. Never own an animal just because you want one. And most animals are not domestic and many people are strangely surprised when they get bitten and then have the animals killed. If people aren't willing to do research, they shouldn't have animals.

For anyone one wondering if they’re aggressive :It is totally fine to approach a badger, I know because I’ve had them in the garden for 2 years, they don’t ever attack as long as you don’t corner them, if anyone has been attacked by a badger, I’m sorry it’s ur fault, u got to close and there wasn’t a exit for it, or maybe you just got to close to their babies, it’s only protect themselves, they’re absolutely harmless.

How many times more difficult is it to PROPERLY care for a badger compared to an active canine that needs a lot of attention and training. Is it neccecary to have some kind of expensive enclosure even if they spend 90 percent of the day with or around you . They must need to dig I imagine . Yeah how many times more difficult then a rambunctious dog that NEEDs to work and be stimulated to not be miserable and wound too tight . Will a badger destroy everything indoors if you turn your back or get distracted for a hour? Do you need concrete floors and things you don't care that get wrecked or can they be chill like a dog if you amuse them , stimulate their brains, walk them a couple few hours a day and give em lots of belly rubs and affection and wrestle them alot. Probably helps if you have a crazy dog the badger likes that knows how to play with a badger without pissing him off. Can you bring them in a car outside a carrier or is that a death ride and destroyed interior ? I'm talking about a person who doesn't need to work and has 8-10 hours a day to spend with the badger. Do people who keep badgers let them sleep or hang out in bed like people do with dogs, cats ,possum and other critters. I feel like a badger could so easily just wreck a joint with no bad intent but just being a smart animal. Can they be trained in any sense or do you just have to be on badger time in badger land and live in their world and not expect them to not burrow into a couch , open your fridge and get in all your cabinets and food. They have to be as or nearly as bad as a raccoon although my neighbor had a small female that would sneek in eat some cat food , sleep in his laundry closest and was pretty mellow, but her brothers got hip, snuck in and were more destructive , aggressive and he had to chase them with a broom and they were not really scared or impressed till he really whacked them , scolded them and kind of had it out with them before they stopped trying to sneAk in, he lives with his doors open and has cat doors. They stopped coming back though . I think if it were just the little sweet female he might have let it go on . Is a badger anything like caring for a ferret or weasel. I have known indoor outdoor ferrets that went out like a cat , and like a cat killed a lot of things but always ate them. But could be let out in the yard and didn't take off and happy to be inside after the did their business and tore the chest out of a pigeon or whatever was in the yard . Same ferret could be put on the ground and would run up a leg wanting to be with people, it was a pocket weasel and pretty much always out in public . But ferrets are actually domestic, most people just leave em in crates or whatever so they are miserable and want to run away but if you just hang out with them all day they are pretty much like a cat or a dog although u still have a big cage for them . The ones left In cages are not good pets though Imo . If you hang with your badger 24/7 , take him to the pub , on bicycle rides , long walks everyday in both town and the woods, bring him shopping in leather bag, etc, etc do they become acusstomed to living in people world as a badger or are they always in badger land and your just keeping shit under control .

Dude your friggen crazy! When I was a kid my grandfather told this story about a hunting trip in the Sierra Mountains...they had a new guy with them...this jackals took a pot shot at a badger with a Winchester 30-30 and the thing chased the guy up a tree! Obviously he didn't get a direct hit but he said it defiantly grazed it and took a nice chunk of hair off. He said the thing just went foriggen buriserk. Serves the prick right if you ask me.

Why am I a hypocrite? According to my grandfather he shot at it with no intention of eating it. To him it was just a moving target. On top of that it was during the Great Depression, they were making like 5¢ a day and they were hungry. When your out hunting deer because your starving.Taking a potshot at a badger just to be a dick is pretty stupid because you know...deer tend to hear that sort of thing.

That's a good question. Worryingly, the guy is a hunter. One wonders what has happened to this cub's siblings and parents. It's worrying that he has the poor thing and it's 100% illegal in Ireland (this is in Ireland) to keep a badger unless you are a registered rescue organisation. He has carefully edited this video to block faces.
