I own the SG60 Bobcat stump grinder, ground out over 20,000 stumps and love it! BUT I OWNED A BOBCAT WOOD CHIPPER DO NOT BUY!! JUNK! The amount of dust the chipper makes is sucked into your air filter and the chipper is simply under powered going only hydraulically power. Buy a tow behind chipper and save your $30-,000-60,000 machine.

+DakotaStove Were you using a 750 or higher bobcat with high flow and and the high flow 8b Chipper? was the shoot angled away from the bobcat? were you sticking to green foliage? I don't think its intended for big tree surgery jobs but not sure I don't own one, it looks like a small disc chipper though, generally 8 inch or smaller disk chippers are for light work, and most chippers pump out dust pretty bad especially with deadwood. Perhaps bobcat needs to bring out/incorporate some sort of tree work filter or something to go hand in hand with the chippers something like would come on a stand alone chipper I don't know, even on big 15 inch drum chippers it only take one job with a decent amount of deadwood to warrant a filter clean before your day is even over.
