The inner filter rarely looks bad. The larger filter blocks the macro dirt that is easy to see while the inner filter stops the micro dirt.

Awesome video Fitz! Subscribed. I'm getting ready to buy a Compact Track Loader. This makes me way more comfortable with the maintenance on this machine. Any reason I shouldn't buy a 590?
@fitzsfixes

Thanks for the sub! I absolutely love the 590. But before you pull the trigger, check out the 595. It's the same frame as the 590 with the engine from the 650. So it has more power. If I can find one, I'm going to upgrade to it when I'm ready.

What do you think of that size of machine? I've been looking at T650 and T630 models. I'll be using it for residential use. Some land clearing but mostly hauling logs to the sawmill and offloading deliveries from freight trucks..

What is the point of the orange guards on the boom arms anyways? And how much did you pay for all the filters? And what model number are they? 😬 I just bought a used one and want to do maintain before use
@fitzsfixes

The orange guards come off and sit over the hydraulic ram preventing it from coming down on you when working under it. As for filters? I dont know the numbers. I went to my dealer and asked for filters for a t590. That's what they gave me. I suggest you do the same. My machine isnt due for a hydro change yet, so I havent even looked at how to change it yet. Sorry

Thanks! I actually just went to the dealer and did the same. Wasn’t bad 94 dollars for fuel, oil and inner/outer air filter. But I noticed my hydraulic fluid looks “not clear”. I noticed the cap for the hydraulic reservoir has a filter and it looks like they may have hit it with water and got water in the reservoir. I’ll try making a short video when I do it this week and give you a heads up for when you do need to do it! Thanks for the videos!

@@rpoperations7715 oh, yeah for sure you gotta fix that. I just did a quick google search to see if there is a drain plug. I haven't found anything. Everyone keeps saying they suck the oil from the tank. There should be 5gal in it. Then theres more in all the lines. Depending on how much water you have in yours, you may want to change it more then once

Yeah I’ve been trying to research it and found the same info but I did find an online manual and found another option which I’m going to try. I can send it to you if you want. Not sure how to send it through KZitem though...

Hello, does anybody know what could cause a t590 to randomly shut down. No codes no beeps, it just happens. Literally like switching the ignition off. Ignition switch doesn’t seems to be lose.

anyone change the hub sprocket oil . My instuctions are pretty lame. says to do it every 500 hours and tracks need to be removed and only takes 61 ml in each ? looked online but everything shows access from front on bigger or newer models.

I made a video of it. Yes, the tracks need to come off. Once they're off, it's simple to change the oil

Correct. Take the track off, then the sprocket. The hub is buried inside the sprocket.
Interesting to see some of the design differences since 2006 S300. The hose routing at the joints is different. I really don't like the new Bobocat fuel filter drain. It makes a mess when you drain water. You can't wipe inside that drain grip so it holds liquid and continues to drip a while unless you baby-sit it. I buy Wix filters from Oreally's. They have a simple small knurled screw. The engine radiator under the oil cooler always traps trash. I've had mine completely blocked with trash and dirt a couple times. Over heat alarm once. I lay a oversized AC filter ontop of the coolers to reduce the trash. Still happens but not so fast. I handle brush and hay more than dirt.
