These guys were the real deal, man. That first album sounds as good today as it did back in grade eight. Mad respect to them for playing the kind of music they wanted to and not giving a shit what anyone else thought.

You gotta detach yourself from the album recordings and get the kind of relationship with the songs themselves where the fidelity isn't nearly as important as the performance. And then this shit will sound heavenly!

Who would have thought of them as being so deep regarding the range of musical influence they cherish. Slayer S.T. Pink Floyd open up a deep treasure book. Famous during the era of this recording Ice was famous for Gangstarap not even for being a TV copper. Hahaha, institutionalised with 99 problems...

The Album was and Band was viewed as a one off with ICE returning to his Gangsta Musical career laters. How wrong we all was. I learned about the Bands deepness over their Tribute for the Gwar singer. At his commemorate punk Fiesta in Richmond. This was so subculture and out of touch with anything LA that you know if ya know, you know?
