This body doubling, full house declutter & clean with me video is meant as both cleaning motivation and to help you consider certain things and maybe even add a different perspective to the way you see decluttering, organizing and cleaning your home.
Body doubling is really popular for neurodivergent people such as autistic people and ADHD'ers, because we often lack the possibilty of intrinsic motivation in the way neurotypical people do. Body doubling is therefor a way of motivating us into getting things done, because somehow having others alongside with us helps us getting motivated. In this video I combined my declutter and cleaning journey throughout my home from the start of my channel a little over 2 months ago. Whether you'd like to use this video with my full house declutter & clean with me as body doubling or as some other type of cleaning motivation: both is perfectly fine! Even if that means you sitting on your couch or bed with a paper and pen at the ready to write down your thoughts on my questions and nothing else. ♡
In this video I'll not only be showing my full house declutter & clean with me as cleaning motivation, but I'll also be sharing some of my experiences and asking you questions to consider the way you actually think about these things, such as crossing boundaries, what it is exactly that you're trying to accomplish in your home, what motivates you, shifting perspective on certain chores and the way you see decluttering and cleaning. Or how not being able to get motivated maybe links to already having crossed certain boundaries.
As I only came up with the idea of making this body doubling full house clean with me as cleaning motivation after I finished up some of my earlier videos, I didn't have all of my videos saved without audio and already with on screen text. So should you notice some random text popping up, then that's the reason why :). Also there's a short part (around 30 seconds) without audio, as I apparently saved the video with only cleaning sounds without the last part, so I had to take that one from the original video and mute the audio entirely as I couldn't just mute my voice. So that might come across a bit weird when you get to that part, but it'll start making sounds again soon after :).
