He's awesome, humble, honest and willing to learn even at his expertise, and experiencen I'm sure what he's seen by now would give 90 percent of us nightmares. He's right, so easy in this day and age with videos and technology to dissect without fully understanding the entire situation, compated to those who do their judging and comments to behind a screen with filters or avatar. Most people would never be willing to look in the mirror and self assess based on randos online. He's able to analyze and retain with no "rewind" or fear of how many likes or a spin doctor's accord in order to sooth needy vicarious followers. Bravo! You're a gem, and embodies those willing to learn without anylitcal egotism, but have experience, class, grace, compassion and command. I'm not calling him old rather he embodies and old school, experienced, suck it up and learn mentally to grow to be a better human for humanity that I think we all should respect but hey hard knocks, hard times decided if your mud, fools gold, coal or a gem...bright, expensive, rare and worth the time it took for others to see your rare value.

I am excited to see the bias here. Update: I was disappointed with the lack of bias. I am also disappointed that he thinks he needs to amend this behavior as if this behavior was completely unacceptable. Anyone can tell you that being filmed in a chair with no barrier between oneself and the camera is going to cause people to feel anxiety and self-consciousness...wanting to look their best--there is nothing bad about that it is completely normal. I would exhibit extremely similar behaviors. Nothing that I saw and I guessed what they meant before he even admitted it...and I was right on every single one about why he was doing the things that he was doing...and none of them should be shameful or stuff that you would need to hide! My message to this guy...don't change. This nervousness is totally normal. This kind of behavior humanizes and builds rapport with people. If you would like to be a good interrogator or a good law enforcement interviewer, it would be crucial to not amend these behaviors. You want to humanize yourself to whoever you're talking to. People just picked you apart because they want you to be malicious or deceptive, but there was nothing malicious in this at all. It was just somebody exhibiting nervousness and self consciousness...which is totally normal when you film people this way. I have been filmed like this: in a white studio with people standing around and it's kind of nerve-racking...some people feel comfortable there, I personally do not. I'm constantly worrying that I look bad...or I'm sitting at a bad angle. Or that I feel a hair in my face, and I need to fix that because it's going to look bad. That's totally normal. Do you know what I like? An FBI agent that can be a real human being instead of some ultra elite unshakable unapproachable tough guy person. People will typically not want to talk to you if you don't come off in a very relatable way...and the FBI needs people to talk to them sometimes. Beeeee yourself. Always. Go unicorns! I would like to commend you on your lack of bias in this analysis! 👍🏼

I feel like some people who watch Joe’s videos, read Joe’s books, and attend his seminars use this information incorrectly. Someone’s partner can digest his experience and use the tools to come to a false conclusion. They probably think because they’ve watched a video they can figure out if someone is being deceitful. There is nothing more terrifying then good information used incorrectly and consequently hurting people.

How do you avoid "over analyzing" movements that may be inconsequential? Such as adjusting because of an uncomfortable chair, or a pain in you back? Lots of people get uncomfortable after sitting for a long time, and that would have no bearing on their guilt or innocence. Also, what do you do if they have turrets or something? That'd have to make it nearly impossible. I know there's science and facts behind body language, just curious how you see through the irrelevant.

I think frequency of such as act may dictate the difference between a nervous tic/comfort behavior versus, say, a routine adjustment in your seat. Someone adjusting themselves in their seat might only do it once or only a couple times per hour, whereas nervousness may lead to fidgeting in the seat, squirming every few second or couple minutes. So yeah, I would venture a guess and say frequency or intensity gives a lot of insight into whether it's a tell or inconsequential.

The first thing i saw is his foot&leg position. For me it looks like he is ready to jump up at any second. He has his, i think, strong leg back getting it with a minimal rotation of the ankle into a good position to jump up and sprint away. His other leg seems stable on the ground altough a little wide open, maybe oriented in the direction of an opening through the cameras & lights or a door. Maybe the orientation of his other leg is also unusable as long as it is anchored on the ground it'll give a good support for a rapid start somwhere.
