Welcome to another vlog. I am sharing you guys this very... I mean very delicious PorkHumba recipe. This is a Boholano version. I had several trial and errors just to achieve the savoury taste of this recipe. You should try this and I'm sure you will love it. #Vlog13 #porkhumba #boholano version #christchurch
As mentioned in the video guys, the following are the ingredients for this recipe and it's specific measurements:
2 kls pork belly
1 tsp salt
1 tspn ground black pepper
2 pcs chopped onions (medium to large size)- you can use red onions
10-12 cloves of garlic
3/4-1cup brown sugar (depends on your taste)- I used 1 cup
3/4-1 cup Vinegar ( depends on your taste) - I used 3/4 cup
5-6 bay leaves
1 can salted beans (optional)- I did not use in this video.
2 cups unsweetened Pineapple juice
3 cups sprite.
If you decide to use salted beans, please discard the sauce and rinse the beans before mixing it to your Humba.
Worth noting, I know that I mention "Panlasang Pinoy" in the video, but just to make it clear the recipe was not from the said channel. This recipe is my own version and I must have learned it from my mom I guess when I was still in the Philippines. Then, I played around the ingredients until I came up with this version.
