I tell myself that silent moment is music too. It is the stuff that makes this kind of music true. I can only accomplish it on my piano if I am left alone and unbothered. @@durden91tyler that's a REALLY broad question. Main thing is spend on speakers. Even cheap amps today are great (not so back in the golden age), things like fancy DACs are a waste of money if you're starting out. As for turntables, get a used one that's a known quality brand for cheap (just keep browsing 'til you get lucky). THE most significant bang for your buck will be on the speakers themselves.

I’ve always been someone who appreciates other people’s writing, and I stick to the visual stuff- drawing, painting, and sculpting. Out of black oblivion, I spotted a golden river of light cutting through the abyss -an oasis of life in a wasteland of nothingness. As I approached it, I found that it was just as lifeless as the void that encroached upon it. No car nor soul dare disturb the surreal scene before me. Making my way down the lonesome streets, I began to hear something slow...steady...rhythmic. I had to strain to hear it sometimes; it was so faint. Although I never found the source of this music, for some strange reason, it seemed to be calling out to me; it was as if it were trying to ask me a question. A stranger dressed in all black who taps you on the shoulder and lets you turn around to simply disappear on you -vaporize out of thin air. It asks me "Why are you here?", and I've nothing to defend myself with except "...I don't know...but I think I want to stay awhile".

Hate bringing bad news, but cannot choose if they are actually bad or good or neither.

The hyperactive blockers and deleters who have made this site less and less useful are going through this site with a chainsaw. So enjoy this one while you still can before YTR becomes useless to people who depend on the internet. Whoever you are I hope M80S blow your blocking hands off this 4th of July. And thanks so much to Demighoul for uploading it to begin with.

Sounds like a Philip Marlowe soundtrack.(typical Raymond Chandler line:"She had a body on her, that would make a Bishop kick a stain glass window..)

Its so ... inducing need for more. Addiction to sophistication, fetish. Not enough. So impure. Native. Perfect, indeed. Maybe even more.

Good news boppers, the big alert has been called off. It turns out that the early reports were wrong, all wrong. Now for that group out there that had such a hard time getting home, sorry about that. I guess the only thing we can do is play you a song.

Sometimes less is more. Sometimes a tone reverberating is more significant than a melody. Solid \m/.

I gave this music 22 seconds to convince myself to listen to it and I'm still waiting at 7:57. I would now associate it with all my moments of expectation.
