Sir awesome video. You're organized and gave great demonstrations of the knives capabilities. This is a nice change of pace to other "knife guys" channels where they drone on endlessly about their opinions. I'm here from JimiSlash but subbed because of the quality content. My only suggestion is if you get into adding more post production stuff would be maybe a card overlaying the details of the knife such as price, BTE thickness, length, blade steel, weight, etc. You gave that great in your description but I'm a very visual learner maybe I'm strange but I think it would help. Anyways still an awesome job.

Just so everyone knows. Cobratec is a company in Texas that imports parts from China and assembles the parts into OTF knives. Most of their knives are heavier than say a Microtech because of the zinc alloy handles. They’re lower end OTFs. I don’t understand Boker Plus collaborating with them on these various OTFs and saying they’re American made, when that isn’t the case. Boker Plus. has/had more expensive OTF knives in collaboration with Hogue.

These are true statements. Value wise I do prefer the Boker Plus Kalisnakov.

@alan kendle Handle a Microtech or another American made OTF of your choice and you’ll see the difference. They’re constructed of aircraft aluminum, not a heavy zinc alloy, and have high end blade steels. If you just want to have an OTF for the fidget factor that isn’t made in the USA, enjoy.

The ultratech is heavier than this knife. Aluminum, not zinc alloy.

What a great review! Very well done. It's awesome how you added some other everyday items to the size comparisons and how you don't just cut cardboard. I really like how you include the zip ties, milk jug/water bottle, and the seatbelt. Great video!!! Jimislash sure picked a great channel to send everyone too.

Thank you for watching and thank you for subscribing. I’m glad I was able to provide a review for you. Boker OTFs seemed to be outcasted but I love them as much or even more then my mircotechs or guardian tacticals.

Great comment! I don't think I've seen anyone else do this other than older Blade HQ reviews. Very helpful to have real demos.

Mannn,Boker is killing me with the right handed only OTFs..I would love to add some of these more affordable OTFs to my collection but I’m a lefty..I will just have to be happy with the Microtech Ultratech and Hogue Exploit I already own..unfortunately,us lefties have an extremely limited choices in the world of automatic knives

It is a shame they do that I agree! I believe it's just to make the show side more sleek. However at the expense of losing a lot of leftie buyers.

Tactical Everyday Dad I agree..I would like to see them do most of their OTFs like Microtech where a removable glass breaker holds the pocket clip in place.though I think this particular knife would look better without the glass breaker

How is this otf boker working for you still?? I bought 1 off blade hq and 2 hours after I had it it started not locking when closing. So I sent that one back and bought another one. And the same exact thing happened! Started not locking when closing. Just wondering if you are having the same issues with it? Because I really love how solid and how it felt in my hands. And I really want to order a 3rd one but I’m kinda thinking after two of them not functioning properly out of the box then they are not worth 120$

Honestly I use my Boker Plus Kalashnikov OTF more then the Kwaiken. After further usage I found that in some situations the slickness of the handle finish is too slippery. I have not ran in to the issue of the knife not locking when closed. The one I have is an earlier production model too. So I hope they didn't change something for the worst... sorry to hear you are having issues with "now" two of the Kwaikens.

@@TacticalEverydayDad the first one I ordered was 046. I was like ok cool I got a really early model. Lol. When that one failed I put in the order for the second one. I put a note in to have them make sure it was working properly before sending. When I got that one the serial number was 548 or something around that. And that ended up the same thing right out the box. Idk maybe I should order one more. 3rd times a charm right! Lol. Anyways thanks for the response! I appreciate it

Where have you been my whole life.I love that you actually show the knife cutting ability through different things.all the other reviewers just want to look at it and measure it.I want to know how sharp it is.most reviewers won’t even slice a piece of paper with the knife they are reviewing,I thank you for showing me how sharp the blade actually is.it was a toss up between the Kwaiken and kalashnikov.I’m going with the Kwaiken for sure
