Thorne and Macy are adorable in their scenes together. It is obvious how extremely comfortable Bobbie Eakes and Jeff Trachta are with each other, and with the studio setting. These studio scenes with the lighthearted banter come so naturally to both of them, it's like they are only half acting and half just being themselves.

The couple with the most chemistry in the whole show in my opinion. Not only they looked so damn good with each other, the relationship they portrayed seemed so genuine and loving, ugh, if only they had some happy ending in that neverending pit of turmoil.

No matter whether you like the plots now, I think we can all agree (for those who watch B&B these days) the writing back then was so vastly different and held our interest. In this episode alone we have the storyline of Ridge/Brooke/Taylor; the Jessica/Dylan storyline; and the Thorne/Macy plot (which may be heating up again. We also have the Eric/Sheila storyline. What do we get these days?? Endless chatter about Liam and Hope and their marriage. No excitement and all the characters revolve on whether they will get back together or not.

You can't compare the B&B of then and now, wretched and remnants of the past, B&B then it was a creation of splendor, a real show, there were magnificent fashion shows, they lived and breathed fashion, incredible love stories, transcontinental spectacular landscapes, serious and invested writing... And especially the one and only Stephanie the Queen👑 and Ridge the Prince👑 the one and only devastating, charming and romantic handsome 💋💋💋

Yesterday Omar was talking about Ridge being faced with a cruel dilemma of having to choose between Taylor and Brooke as if he's ever had 2 women fight over him. He wants Taylor to burn with the _passion_ she had for him before! when? Ridge stayed married to Taylor when those kids existed. Does Brooke having a claim on Ridge because of Bridget mean Eric has a claim on Brooke because of little Eric?

But the point just flew over Jessica's head. Dylan can barely take care of himself and what job is Jessica going to get on a high school diploma that can support them? Love and happiness, nice as they are, don't buy groceries or pay the rent. She really needs to grow up and understand what goes on in the world. Anyway, maybe Eric would have hired her in Forrester.

Writers treated Macy horribly. Somehow she got blamed for their failed marriage when Thorne's family had her arrested and moved his lover into the house.

@@blackblake3658 the worst part is how she always seems to get (and accept) all the blame for her marriage problems, when most of the time she was less than half the problem. I don't agree though that the writers are treating Macy horribly by making her suffer. Macy as a character actually shines in tragic storylines. It's far worse when she's written out of character, gets backburnered for months, or gets randomly killed off.

But to me, the worst part isn't the writers making Macy suffer, it's the writers treating her storyline like it's an afterthought although she could easily be every bit the leading lady that Brooke and Taylor are (and IMO is portrayed by a stronger actress than those two characters).

Absolutely agree…it’s almost like Taylor is no longer her former self. She is not using her skills from psychotherapy. I guess the Trauma she went through affected her brain? Surely Taylor could figure a way out of this…by being cooperative and play mental games with Omar!😳 They are making Taylor a Victim but I’m thinking that started the moment she fell for Ridge? 😮 Firstly, she became a Victim to her own indecision about where Ridge’s heart was? Then she became a Victim to Blake and his manipulations…and then paranoia set in about Brooke taking her husband away. 🤔

I understand why Taylor uses this approach with Omar (still hiding and letting him ask the questions), bc Omar is a control freak. This Way, Omar gets to feel like he is still pulling the strings. But really, the best way to really know how Ridge would act/react would have been to just reveal herself to Ridge, maybe while he was in the middle of answering said questions...

Exactly. Omar acts like this is brand new to Taylor. Brooke and the children were around when Ridge and Taylor were married.. Omar needs to go find someone who actually wants him and leave Taylor to go back to her life. Whether he approves of that life or not is not Taylor's business. Aside from Ridge, she also had a thriving career that she'd prob like to get back to.

Omar misses the point; Taylor has ALWAYS shared Ridge with another woman, so his argument holds no water. As much as I don't like Taylor, putting her in this position of walking away due to your machinations is wrong on every level. There would have been no marriage if you had allowed Taylor's family to know she was alive. That is not to say Ridge wouldn't have eventually married Brooke, but given he was still married to Taylor there would have been legalities to deal with. It would have been far more interesting to see what would have happened if the SL had gone in that direction, tell the truth and let the chips fall. What we are getting is beyond ridiculous.

Many write, knowing how Tridge will end in the future that it would be better for her to give up Ridge as to prevent her the pain, and I start thinking that it is because the viewers consider her the best element of the triangle. I assume that Brooke deserves that waffling more than Taylor. Bridge was a solid couple? I don't watch the current or the last decades show but has Brooke ever been happy with Ridge?
