DAMN thats a big seeder wish our farm was big enough to warrant one we have around 90km². if i had one i would need bigger gates in to the fields and a bigger tractor NH t8040 is not gonna be able to handle something like that. choice of song was on point and still rings true to this day city folk dont think about us hell dont even care makes me wonder if kids are taught about where there food comes from any more. IMO the rest of the world is running headlong in to there own doom.

If you're farming 90 square kms you would need 4 of those seeders and run 15 hour shifts
@phalanx3803
2 жыл бұрын
@@denison5357 that would get our farm done in less then 2 days. we dont have the money for 4 whole sets let alone the man power to operate them. we dont really do all 90km² we rotate some fields out for rest or cattle feed. cash cops get done first then feed crops so we aren't in much of a rush to plant as fast as we can little old Gason 1880 is perfect for us tho i would rather the air cart behind the toolbar not in front but it gets the job done.

@@phalanx3803 oh okay we plant about 10000ac a year (40sq kms). we run two 60ft seed hawks and it takes use about a month to get it all planted. We average about 45-50 acres per hour
