The solo that starts at 3:12 is really one of the most underrated pieces of guitar I've ever heard. Almost never do you hear a solo that is completely melodic, and useful for building any emotional tension. Such a beautiful piece of guitar work.

They rely on it 100%. In their lives performances they involve the audience in the music making too. Truly cathartic to scream or sing your guts out whilst they provide the space and encourage your participation. This band is a great example of why I value emotive artists over technical ones. Just breath taking.

This is when “the band” hit their groove. Much like Kevin of tame impala, Justin can mastermind a piece or performance. But these performances where he gets lost in the music and sound he’s built with others help is utterly beautiful.

@blakcpavement that is an ignorant thing to say. if you yourself aren't a musician you probably wouldn't know, but most artist enjoy other artist. John Mayer is a wonderful song writer and guitarist and singer, and bon iver, or Justin Vernon, is perfect what music he loves to do. Honestly I don't think it matters that john mayer makes triple what Justin does, because I don't think such an artist as this would be solely focused on money. John mayer isn't either though, and if you had any clue

@kidsbikes Mayer composes and has some extremely emotional songs, so I dont think that would be a very good statement either way. I absolutely love Vernon as I previously stated, but I still think that comment is ignorant either way.

@blakcpavement are you serious? Have you seen John Mayer play? Thats just ignorant for you to say something like that.
