sorry about your mother passing. There's noone like your mom. Conway loved Elvis as so many did and would copy him before getting into country. Conway had a hard time switching over to country he did not get the credit that he should have gotten and tried to help so many in countrymusic. the song by Bon is very good.

I am a big Country Music, Conway Twitty Fan, but John does a pretty good job with this. Those of you who are not familiar with Conway Twitty, check out his original "It's only Make Believe" he wrote it and it was a big hit for him, in 1958. Conway Twitty went on to be a prolific singer and song writer in Country Music. He wrote some of the Country star's biggest hits, of which some of you might be familiar without even realizing it.

I saw Bon Jovi in Little Rock at Barton Coliseum in 1992 on the "Keep the Faith" Tour. He got so mad that the picks the band were throwing out were being picked up by the security guards up front. Jon stopped the show and went on a tirade ...." when we throw the $%&! picks out - you give them to the $%&! Fans! And another thing - quit pushing the fans around - and get some !$%! water out here for them!" I looked over at Richie Sambora and he was looking at Jon like even he was surprised at how angry he was getting! I don't know if Barton still exists , but it was general seating there - so everybody was pushing everybody forward and it was very hot. Jon was interviewed in the paper the next day and asked how he ranked Little Rock from 1-10, and he said a( -1 out of 10!). I think it was just that experience at the arena that night, because obviously they came back.

I saw them in June of '87 at Buckeye Lake in Ohio and it was sweltering that day! I would have loved for him to have noticed the pregnant woman almost passing out from the heat, as there was some kind of water shortage. It was shoulder to shoulder there (Cinderella opened for Bon Jovi that day), I shouldn't have even been there it was so hot. But one doesn't just NOT go see Bon Jovi if they are within 75 miles of ones home :) I had to leave early, but it was worth it.

I loved Conway Twitty as so many did. If this Bon was trying to be another Conway he failed considerably as Conway had that twang so many have tried and most people can't come even close. The best that came very close is Jeff Bates and he studied Conway's music and he don't have the twang either. Conway loved his fans this guy apparently don't as where was the water? I never heard of such a thing.
