When I start a group planting, it is in a seed tray, length 33cm width 24cm depth 7cm I have nine beech trees planted in one of these. The planting was done two years ago and the trees are pruned in the summer months. In my openion three is a low number and to make an impact I would suggest you go for a higher number of trees say 5, 7 or 9 and if you really want to go for it then later on you can add smaller trees to increase the numbers.

Thanks for the message. I will go in for higher number of trees as suggested. It is rainy season and winters are not far away. Best time to plant and do some creative work.
