Got my hands on Garden of Earthly Delights, thanks to you, and it is magical. Easily the most beautifully illustrated coloring books I have seen, I love it.

Absolutely adore every single one of these books, I've just completed a Victorian Science Illustration project and found it all so beautiful! If you like Animalium, then I recommend The Wonder Garden, it's equally as stunning x

+Beth Cleveland That's another gorgeous one that I've had my eye on. I'm loving this trend for large-scale lavishly illustrated non-fiction for kids that are also appealing to adults :)

What a fantastic video - so many lovely books! My heart belongs to "Animalium", we have it in the bookshop where I work - I always look at it and think "one day you will belong to me". I didn't know Katie Scott was on Instagram, gonna go follow her now :)

Of all the books you show I only knew before Animalium. It was released in Spain and people love it! I'm specially fascinated by Ernst Haeckl's book. The drawings are mesmerizing and I have at least one book with some of them (impedimenta.es/media/blogs/libros/9788415979005.jpg?mtime=1384445002). It was very nice to see some of your choices of scientific drawing books :)

These books are beautiful! Also I noticed you have an Anna Atkins print on your shelf. Can i ask where did you obtain the print from?

+Jo Reads They're royalty free images that I found online. I chose four with the same shade of cyan, laid them out on an A4 page and printed them at home on some watercolour paper. The website was vintageprintable.com/. They have a good selection of royalty free images. The image on the opposite side is also from there.

Thanks very much! I didnt realise her images were royalty free as the ones I knew about were prints that could be purchased from the New York Library. I think they are beautiful and very interesting in how they were made. I have done research in that area.

Beautiful books! Just because I'm curious, what's on the cd in the back of the William Morris book?
@HollyDunnDesign

+BurntFiction It has digital versions of the images in the book. I haven't actually looked at it because my laptop doesn't have a CD drive, but that's what it says at the back :)
